About HTAN

The Hunter Trainers & Assessors Network (HTAN) is a not-for-profit organisation for anyone working within the training industry.
The objectives of HTAN are:
  • To share information, support members to be at the cutting edge of Vocational Education and Training (VET)
  • To link in with other networks (for the benefit of members)
  • To encourage and support members with current skills in workplace training and assessment
The HTAN Committee is a team of volunteers who work within the training industry. Their role is to meet the objectives, as outlined above. The objectives are met through the coordination of the bi-monthly HTAN Breakfasts and other professional development workshops and events.

Dr John Mitchell Topic: The Secret for VET Practitioners : Getting in touch with your own Employability Skills followed by  Essential PD in Employability skills for VET Trainers & Assessors - Issues in Practice.

The Hunter Trainers & Assessors Network held its first ever conference in Newcastle on May 23rd.

The conference featured guest speakers from government, industry and the training sector, and provided professional development workshops and networking opportunities.
